Williamsport City Police Issued Body-Worn Cameras

As of Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, the officers of the Williamsport Bureau of Police will begin utilizing WatchGuard Body-Worn Cameras in their day-to-day operations. The Police Department has utilized WatchGuard Mobile In-Car Video Recording Systems for well over a decade, and the implementation of the new Body-Worn Cameras is an additional way to integrate leading-edge technology into criminal justice operations, improve officer safety, enhance public safety, and provide high-quality police services with transparency.
