Since their entry on patrol, Sgt. McGee and PO Minier along with their K-9s have been deployed over 140 times for narcotics detection and patrol utilization in the apprehension of suspects. In that time the K-9 teams have been responsible for over 35 arrests as well as countless deployments in assisting other police agencies including WBP's patrol division, Lycoming County Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Special Response Team and surrounding police agencies.
K-9 Niko and K-9 Tacoma along with their handlers have seized more than 13 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 875 grams of cocaine and 43 grams of methamphetamine. The Williamsport Bureau of Police K-9 units continue serving our community here in Williamsport and are thankful for your continued support!
