WBP In # 23-03336 / Self-Inflicted Fatal Shooting / 700 High St

On Sunday, April 16th at approximately 9:18 am, a 64-yr old male arrived outside of the Emergency Room entrance of UPMC Williamsport Hospital and fatally shot himself with a firearm. The victim was alone at the time and no injuries to other persons were reported. First responders were immediately on the scene and attempts made to render aid were ultimately unsuccessful. The area was secured until officers could complete their investigation.
