WBP Incident # 23-01812 - Shooting Investigation

On Tuesday, February 28th at 11:55 pm Williamsport Police and Penn College Police were emergency dispatched to 210 Park St for a shooting that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers encountered two males, with one of the males suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. During the investigation, officers learned that the males had engaged in a physical altercation with each other, during which time they fought over a firearm and a single gunshot struck one of the males. Both actors were transported to a nearby hospital and received emergency medical attention.
