The Williamsport Bureau of Police has recently become aware of a trending phone scam in which the actor(s) are posing as members of the Bureau and demanding payments be made for warrant fees or court related proceedings. Please be aware that no officer of the Williamsport Bureau of Police will contact you by phone to request payments. If you are being contacted by someone claiming to be a member of the Bureau who is demanding that you transfer money to them, please do not provide them with any information or funds and contact our agency.
