Incident #23-02821/Theft from Automobiles: On 04/03/2023 Williamsport Bureau of Police Patrol Division responded to the Diamond St area of Newberry for a report of theft from automobiles. Several juveniles were located and identified. The juveniles were found to be in possession of stolen credit cards, a wallet and cash which were taken from unsecured vehicles. The Williamsport Bureau of Police is reminding members of our community to lock their vehicles and to not leave valuables, wallets, currency and firearms within vehicles as this makes for an easy opportunity for these items to fall into the wrong hands. Anyone having items stolen from their vehicles in the Diamond St area on 04/03/2023 can use the above referenced incident number when filing a report with Williamsport Police.
