Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Statutory Sexual Assault, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Trafficking in Individuals, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Sexual Abuse of Children, Intimidation of Witnesses or Victims, Promoting Prostitution of a Minor, Indecent Assault, and related offenses - WBP In #22-2638 - DEVIN EUGINE MIMS, M/35, was charged with the above offenses after investigators received information that MIMS had numerous sexual encounters with several female juvenile victims between 2020 and 2021. During the investigation, law enforcement officers learned that MIMS had offered money to the juveniles in return for sexual acts, had surreptitiously recorded sexual acts with juveniles, and had threatened victims while brandishing a firearm.

A warrant, which was initially sealed by the Courts, was issued for MIMS and he was taken into custody on April 5th, 2022. MIMS was brought before MDJ Gary Whiteman, and MIMS was committed to the Lycoming County Prison after he was denied bail. A preliminary hearing was later held in front of MDJ Aaron Biichle, following which the charges were bound over for trial.
