On Tuesday, police officers and state troopers from across Lycoming County came together to participate in the Shop with a Cop event, spreading joy and laughter to children in the region.
Lycoming Regional Police Officers, Pennsylvania State Troopers, and other local police officers spent the day shopping with kids, ensuring they had gifts not only for themselves but also for their family members. The fun-filled day continued with the kids and police officers wrapping presents and enjoying lunch together.
"Our officers look forward to the Shop with a Cop events," said Captain Kriner. "We thank PSP Montoursville for the invitation to participate and Walmart for their hospitality and all the businesses and individuals who provide donations. It's nice for our officers to see the children excited about Christmas. Both the kids and the officers are smiling the whole day, it's some holiday magic and it creates some good community connections."
This heartwarming event brought together law enforcement and the community, fostering a sense of connection and joy during the holiday season.
