Sergeant Robert Cochran is currently assigned as a patrol sergeant with Lycoming Regional Police Department. Sergeant Cochran has 13 years' experience in the law enforcement field.
Sergeant Cochran is a primary supervisor of the uniformed patrol night shift. He started his career with Old Lycoming Township Police rising up to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Cochran has experience as a Field Training Officer (FTO) and is a proficient Firearms Instructor.
Sergeant Cochran is currently assigned the duties of Training Sergeant as well. He oversees the development and implementation of training programs for the Lycoming Regional Police Department. He is committed to keeping our officers updated on the latest techniques and protocols enhancing our department's overall effectiveness and preparedness.
Sergeant Cochran’s additional duties extend beyond LRPD. He serves as the Lycoming County DUI Task Force Coordinator, responsible for preventing impaired driving incidents throughout Lycoming County.
Sergeant Cochran has received several commendations throughout his career. He received an Associate's degree in residential construction from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and his Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officer Certification from Mansfield University.
