The Lycoming Regional Police Department is under the direction and control of the Lycoming Regional Police Commission which is responsible for the operations, management, and administration of the LRPD.  The Commission consists of civilian representatives from Old Lycoming Township, Jersey Shore Borough and Porter Township, who are appointed by the governing bodies of each municipality.  

The Lycoming Regional Police Commission meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM alternating between the Jersey Shore Borough Building, located at 232 Smith St. in Jersey Shore, PA. 17740 or the Old Lycoming Township Municipal Building, located at 1951 Green Ave. in Williamsport, PA. 17701.  Meetings are open to the public.  

Special meetings of the Lycoming Regional Police Commission may be held at various times throughout the year.  Such meetings are to be held in compliance with applicable Sunshine Laws.
