Sergeant Crawford has been a police officer for over 15 years. Sergeant Crawford is a primary patrol supervisor of the uniformed patrol day shift. He is a 2005 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School. Sergeant Crawford attended Mansfield University where he obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. Sergeant Crawford successfully completed the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Academy in 2007. Sergeant Crawford has held various ranks including Patrolman, Corporal and Sergeant.
Sergeant Crawford has specialized training and leads the department’s Search and Rescue and Crisis Intervention Teams. He is the point of contact with our partner agency DCNR and overseas operations with TEMS (Tactical Emergency Medical Service).
Sergeant Crawford’s additional duties that extend beyond LRPD include his participation in the Lycoming County Hostage Negotiation Team.
Sergeant Crawford sits on the Community Outreach Program (COP) Board for Lycoming Regional Police Department and enjoys the positive impact it has on the communities.
Sergeant Crawford has resided in the Pine Creek Valley his entire life. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing in the Pine Creek Valley and surrounding areas.
