Traffic Advisory – 9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride

The Annual Lycoming County 9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Ride will take place on Thursday, September 11th, beginning at 6:00 PM. The motorcade will start in Clinton Township and travel through the City of Williamsport along the following route:

• North on Arch Street from the Lance Cpl. Abram Howard Memorial Bridge to West Third Street
• East on West Third Street from Arch Street through to River Avenue

For the safety of participants and the public, Arch Street and West Third Street along the motorcade route will be closed to cross-traffic during the event. The participants are expected to pass by campus on W. 3rd St. starting about 6:20 pm and the motorcade will likely last for 30-40 minutes. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow for extra travel time.
